10th INTERNATIONAL VACUUM EXHIBITION 2009
International vacuum exhibition (IVE) has been held successfully night times by Chinese Vacuum Society (CVS) and Vacuum Equipment Industry Association of Chinese General Machinery (VEIACGM) in China since 1991. Its scale, level and influence have been promoted significantly. It has established good reputation for its prominent image, excellent fame and reliable credit among the exhibitors and customers. It has been a famous international exhibition in the vacuum technology. It is a window to know international latest progress, a chance to show and establish status and to enhance reputation, a stage to promote communication, cooperation and trade among the companies in China and abroad. Therefore, CVS and VEIACGM will hold 10th International Vacuum Exhibition in May 19 to May 22, 2009 in Beijing International Convention centre.
The subject of this exhibition is ‘Inheriting, Innovating and Spurting’.
Vacuum product and application companies are encouraged to find commercial chance, develop market and then get the most effects in both society and economy.

In 2007, China moved in one jump to be the world’s largest producer in solar cells and the global output this year is 4000.5 MWp. It is estimated that nearly 50 companies in China are constructing, expanding or planning Siemens improved production lines of polycrystalline silicon. The overall output is over 100,000 tons; the total investment is RMB 100 billion. China produced 1088 MWp solar cells in 2007, exceeding that of Japan (920MWp) and Europe (1062MWp).
The production of module encapsulation industry was 721 MWp in 2006 and 1717 MWp in 2007. Module output is 1.5 times that of cells, and 50% of the cells used for modules were imported.
The solar and PV power generation market in China has developed rapidly. The installed capacity was 20MWp in early 2007 and 200MWp at the end of that year.
Global photovoltaic power generation also continues developing in a rapid and healthy way. Although Solar-grade silicon material is still a constraint of current development, the relationship between supply and demand is moderated gradually. The prospect of photovoltaic power generation of the world is more and more promising. China has become the world's largest producer of solar cells and its photovoltaic industry chain has a gradually balanced harmony and healthy development, except that of silicon materials.
Shanghai New Energy Industry Association decides to hold SNEC 3rd (2009) International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo ceremonially in Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from May 6th to 8th, 2009, upon the success of SNEC 2007 and SNEC 2008.
SNEC (2009) PV POWER EXPO welcomes every insider in this field! Come and take the chance of this international platform to make contacts with worldwide colleagues and jointly create a bright future of green energy through communication, cooperation and technology innovation!
