Vacuum Techniques "High Vacuum Chamber" is fabricated as per the customer requirement and is made of SS 304 material. It has a fully openable hinged door in the front, fixed with O-ring and clamp. On the side of the chamber two ports of required dia are provided and fixed with O-ring and dummy. The View Port is provided to view clearly inside the chamber and it is fixed with lead glass and metal shield. The pumping port is connected at the bottom of the chamber.
The design of the chambers follows pressure vessel design as per ASME code Sec. VIII Div. I and the fabrication follows ASME code Sec. VIII. The chambers are fabricated by TIG Argon Arc welding following ASME Code Sec. IX. All welding joints are tested and radiograph as per ASME code and leak tested by Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Detector better than 1x10-9 std cc/sec. It is then buffed and polished to good finish as per good vacuum practice and provide good surface finish for all the internal surfaces.
